Cikondang Bridge is a steel–concrete composite girder bridge located on the Cibeber–Sukanagara road section in Cianjur Regency, West Java. The bridge was constructed in 1984 and has been in service for approximately 42 years. This study aims to assess the existing condition and remaining service life of Cikondang Bridge using the Bridge Management System (BMS) and Bridge Condition Index (BCI) WSDOT methods. Primary data were collected through field visual inspection and documentation of bridge components, including the deck, steel girders, drainage system, pier, and railing. The inspection identified several defects, including corrosion on steel girders, poor drainage performance, scouring around the pier, and damage to railing elements. The BMS assessment produced a condition value of NK = 3, indicating moderate damage and the need for rehabilitation. The BCI WSDOT assessment produced a BCI value of 45, which also classified the bridge as moderately damaged. The remaining service life analysis showed an equivalent bridge age of approximately 42 years, leaving an estimated remaining service life of about 8 years from the 50-year design service life. The consistency between the BMS and BCI WSDOT results indicates that Cikondang Bridge remains serviceable but requires planned rehabilitation, especially for drainage improvement, corrosion protection, and scour monitoring.References
